I didn't bring the Snow Peak tp880 for this camping trip. I can't deny that the previous 880s did bring a very good space experience, but the weight, volume and complexity of pitching are not advantageous, especially in non-highland areas in the summer, the thought of sweating is inevitably some resistance.

So I tried the big canopy + small tent program, all set up process took no more than 15 minutes, really easy, in fact, this three days and two nights through the test of instantaneous gusts of wind and rain, but also proved that this program is really very reliable.

-The tent was made of Knot Hu.

The tent used this time is Knot Huff 2, it is a lightweight backpacking tent, originally intended to go through the route with, but since the child has not had the opportunity to go deep into the mountains, I did not expect this move camping again came in handy.

Knot is a mainly lightweight domestic outdoor brand, products are mainly tents and canopy, although the product line is small, but playability and cost effectiveness are extremely high, the most important thing is that the quality is also very good, is a conscience of national products.

The outer account weighs only 880 grams, with another Southwood four-season inner tent, plus the inner tent is not more than 2 kg, for moving camping tent for this weight is almost to the limit.

-The weight is almost the limit for moving camping tent.

The 5.76 square meter area of the inner tent is just right for our family of three. I used two mini S-shaped buckles to connect the diagonal ends of the inner tent to the internal hanging points of the outer tent, increasing the head space.

The inner tent door is a double door with mesh, with one exit in front and one in back. In hot weather, you can pull the mesh only to increase ventilation, and in cold weather, you can pull it all to reduce air flow.

The disadvantage is that the outer tent is made of double-sided silicon coated fabric, which requires your own hands to apply glue to all the stitching areas to achieve a completely waterproof effect, but this disadvantage is probably more fun for those who like to do it themselves.

The canopy is still the butterfly-shaped canopy that has been used.

This time I used an extension belt, one end of the canopy across the tent, so as to form a seamless combination of sleeping room + living room, whether it is raining or hot sun, in and out of the tent are under the shelter of the canopy. Figure 2️⃣

In windy and sunny weather, you can use the other two canopy poles to jack up the front two corners of the canopy, which can increase the activity space, and people can also move upright under the canopy.

In case of strong stormy weather or before going to sleep at night, you can remove the extra rod and nail the front two corners directly into the ground to strengthen the weather resistance of the canopy while better protecting other equipment and spend a peaceful night.

In the season of camping without the need for warmth, more time is actually spent outside the tent, and the function of the tent is reduced to sleeping, so a small tent and canopy combination can meet, reduce the burden at the same time, the extra time and energy left to engage in other camping activities.
