New year, new you! After the first few weeks of January, sticking to those fitness resolutions can be a challenge (especially with factors like the winter weather hindering your daily jogging routine, or you know, the gym not being in your actual apartment). Beauty resolutions, on the other hand, are slightly easier to abide by and much more fun than sweating through an intense workout class.

Whether you’re making plans to take better care of your skin in 2015, or to switch up your lipstick wardrobe, making small changes to your regular routine can have a major impact on your overall look. We asked our editors to tell us about the beauty resolutions they hope to accomplish in 2015—keep reading to find out what InStyle Associate Beauty Editor Sheryl George hopes to resolve in the new year.

This year, my goal is to really get preventative about anti-aging with a regimen, and sticking to doing it every night! I'm incorporating things like the new SkinCeuticals Metacell Renewal B3 serum ($110; available at dermatologists' offices, for locations), Verso Night Cream ($100; as a retinol treatment at night, and actually using eye cream like Dr. Dennis Gross' Ferulic + Retinol version ($68; I'm also using the Neutrogena Hydro-Boost Gel Cream ($19; to plump up my skin during the day.

As well, I'm someone who has always gone with neutral lips. While I'm not ready for full-on reds, I will be wearing more sheer brights, like Chanel's lip glosses ($34 and $30;, and the TopShop lipsticks ($16;
