On Saturday, Meghan Markle walked down the aisle to marry Prince Harry looking every bit the royal bride.
As Elle described, Meghan kept things simple by wearing her signature soft smokey eye, curled long lashes, pronounced brows, and just a soft nude lip. This ensured Meghan not only looked beautiful for her big day, but also still looked like herself. Indeed, her tiny freckles even showed through, proving she wasn’t wearing much makeup at all.
Lydia Sellers, Markle's makeup artist who worked with her from 2015 to 2017, predicted Meghan’s look a few weeks ago, telling People in an interview that Meghan "will go with a classic, timeless look similar to what we have seen her wear lately." She added, "Natural, dewy-looking skin, with her freckles peeking through, a sheer pink lip and a daytime smokey eye with beautiful volume in her lashes."
